My husband just left for a long deployment and I want to send it it him. Can anyone guide me through it (other than people at a craft store)?
I make quilts and bears out of baby clothes. I use quilter’s rulers and a rotary cutter to get good straigfht cuts out of the clothes. The pieces can be all different shapes and sizes, as long as they all have straight edges.
After they’re cut, iron them to some nice stiff interfacing. Then start sewing them together using a quarter inch seam. Just keep sewing pieces on until you have a big piece of patchwork fabric.
After that’s done, go back through and sew down each seam allowance so the fabric won’t be lumpy. (as circled in this pic http://www.whozatvoice.com/seams.JPG )
Then just cut your pillow pieces from your new patchworked fabric.

just curious. my boyfriend is writing his dissertation on nontimber forest product collection in philadelphia urban parks, and he is having a hard time finding collectors.
also we enjoy harvesting what we know of (black walnuts, dandelion, etc) and i am always interested in expanding my collecting knowledge.
thanks!
You can get a lot of good info for your area from your local County Agent, an under used resource. RScott

I am going on a missions trip overseas and planning ten art projects for an orphanage to do. I would like most of them to be related to Bible lessons. There are more than 200 kids there, and the materials cannot be too large because I will need to travel with them. Any ideas?
Maybe a Crucifix made of card or clay, which the children could decorate to their own personal taste with paint, plastic gems, beads that can be threaded onto gold coloured wire that can,in turn,be wound around the Crucifix for sculptural effect. If you use clay, the children could actually press beads, small mirrors and gemstones etc into the clay. The Crucifix could then be used to decorate a room as well as providing spiritual protection for the home…Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.

I’m really bored, and I want to do some arts and crafts. I like to recycle things like little tin boxes or use one of those vending machine capsules to do something cool. Are there any sites that have fun arts and crafts ideas?
This article creates a seeded tray but you could use anything that the seeds will stick to. There are also seed beads instead of the editable and plant varieties.

As Accepted Many times as a Basic Understanding of America
The Federalist Papers are the Place the Drafters of the Constitution Placed Specific directions and sources for future Knowledge. The Supreme court Has Gone to them Time after time in our History. Hamilton and the Boys crafted the System and ingrained it into the System. The Constitution Was Not the Place for it so It Does not reside there.
You will find it in OUR version of the Talimud ( Jewish Book of Laws) or Church doctrine, our Tafseer (Islamic Book of laws), CALLED THE FEDERALIST PAPERS.
Hope you Understand Now
and part of the basis for the constitution NOT a replacement as the talmud is not a replacement for the Torah ( not bad for a Catholic girl huh!)
I’m sorry I was staring at your bikini.. what’s that now?
