My children are 2 years old, and 8 months old. I just realized that I have nothing under the tree for their dad, from them!!! I need some ideas of some keepsake things we could make for the children to give?? Last fathers day we did a handprint on a baseball from my son- and that was a big hit….but now my youngest is a little girl….what to do, what to do??? help!!
Get some play-dough and make it into the shape of a small saucer. Let each child put hand-prints into them. You’ll have to help the baby of course. After the play-dough dries take a Sharpie and write the child’s name and "Christmas 2009" on them.

What about Christmas ornaments with their hand or foot prints on them with the date and age of each child? Or maybe a mug with hand/foot prints on it so he can take it to work or such.

There are great craft kits at your local craft store. Wooden boxes that they can paint, picture frames, even stepping stones that they can put foot and hand prints on. One of my favorite things to do it to get the travel coffee mugs (with the lid). Some you can put your own pictures in. Last Christmas we put pics of our son in them. I am also a preschool teacher so I put a link below of crafts we have used for school projects.
