    I tried to explain, to a customer, the difference between a hand-cut drawer dovetail and a machine cut joint.

    He said something like ‘The hand-cut joint looks better, but both joints look well cut. They aren’t going to show much, so I’ll take the machined joint on basis of cost!’

    You just can’t win can you?
